I've added a text to the syllabus for our meeting on July 29. Preparing for the discussion of Foucault and Arendt I find I am turning to the ISAs essay so much -- and preparing to put so many quotes from the piece onto the blog as supplements for that day -- that I figure you might as well just go ahead and read it anyway. That makes for a pretty daunting day of reading, but everybody should read that piece after all, anyway. So, be sure to update your hardcopy syllabi -- the essay is available online and there is a link to it on the online syllabus, so it isn't difficult to access to anything.
